A Year on the Road

We are a married couple who decided to travel the United States and Canada for a year. Riley, our silver lab retriever, gets to come along for the adventure, too. 

We bought our travel trailer, a Grand Design Imagine 2670mk, about a year ago. Although we aren't new to camping, it has been a while and was limited to short, simple trips. We've made exactly two trips out in this trailer and the learning curve has been steep. 

We have spent years talking to folks who have made similar trips, watched countless YouTube videos about RV life, and done a lot of research. Nonetheless, we have so much to learn about this lifestyle and all the things that go with it. 

We have been talking about doing something like this for years, and we realized neither of us were getting any younger. We decided 2024 would be the year we stopped talking and started doing. We set the date and told friends, family and coworkers of our plan. Many asked us how they could keep up with our travels. This blog is the answer. The blog will not be updated in real time and no promises are being made as to how regular we will post.
